Bits & Pieces

Life has just been so busy and exciting that I haven't had much time for blogging, and I'm sorry about that.

Recently I've found a college that I am interested in attending, but it's a private college that doesn't accept financial aid, so I'm working very hard to get a scholarship because I cannot afford to go there otherwise. So, all of the reading and applying that I'm doing is taking up a ton of time.

Then I'm preparing for my trip to Raleigh to be a page in the House of Representatives (I'll be gone an entire week), and yesterday was my little brother's 14th birthday, and I stayed a few days with my sister this week, and I've got school & work on top of it all. So that is why I've been a terrible blogger, friends :)

Without further ado, here are some pictures from a prom shoot last week:

  1. That prom shoot looks like fun! I love the gun. *smile*

That's so cool that you found a college. Where is it?

Hopefully you can get some pictures in Raleigh so we can see what it was like. It's so cool that you get to go!

I have been a bad blogger, too, so you're not the only one. *grin*

    Love,
    Emily.

    1. The college is in Purcellville VA (about 40 miles outside of Washington DC), but it's not in the city, it's out in the country. It's a private Christian school that only has about 5 majors, and they are all government based. The name is Patrick Henry College. I've been emailing an admissions councilor about it and it's sounding pretty great. We're planning on visiting it sometime this summer. I have to apply by this fall if I want to go :/

I hope to get some good pictures in Raleigh! My mom and brother will be going with me, and they plan on dropping by the Legislative building to watch a session or two, and hopefully she'll get pictures of me working. I'm so excited :)

I've missed your blog posts! :D I'll be sending your letter sometime this week!
      Hugs!
