Rainbow Veins

Last Friday one of my best friends (Lia) turned 17. For her birthday we went shopping in town. It threatened to storm all day, but it never did seem to reach us. Then when we walked out of Macys (after some serious shoe-shopping) we came upon this most beautiful rainbow. It was a lovely little present on her birthday :] 

There happened to be a beautiful sunset that night. Also, her birthday cake was made of popsicles tied together with ribbon. It was wonderful.
overall I believe she had a lovely birthday. I think that I enjoyed it just as much as she did.  ;)
