I am sixteen going on seventeen...
I just have to say that I'm excited for this week. I will be turning seventeen on Thursday, and that afternoon I will be going out for coffee with my Mom and sister, and also going shopping. Then on Friday my best friends and their families will all be coming over to celebrate my birthday. We're going to have a cookout (assuming it doesn't rain - my hopes aren't high because it's April, and it always rains on my birthday), and play games.
I love spring.
I'm a little sad though, because I only have two more full days to sing the song "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" from The Sound of Music.
March was a month full of travel (the Beach, Washington D.C, and Nashville TN), and it was fun, but really excited for this whole April.
Happy early birthday, my dear! Or, like my family says, happy birthday week. *smile* We like to spread things out...or leave us room to make plans. Whichever version you prefer. *wink*
