A weekend with friends..

This past weekend has been great! We had some really good family friends visit on Saturday and they stayed until early Monday afternoon.
It was just such a good time.

Myra cooked Thai food for Mom's birthday dinner (Myra's family is Asian)

I think this was called Labe. But I might be wrong.

This was my favorite dish. It looks like a regular stew, but it's called Curry,
and it was deliciously spicy and good. 

And this was Mom's birthday cake that I made, and her freshly cut roses.

and then Jason (who just became a 3rd order Fransiscan and is now 

technically called "Friar Jason") wanted me to do his pictures. So

I'm just sharing a few.

So anyway it was a very good, good weekend.
